People Operations Specialist
Hala is a social enterprise transforming protection and accountability in challenging locations, leveraging advanced defense, sensing, and AI. The People Operations Team seeks a specialist to drive the TALENT Grant project and support core administrative functions.

This full-time, fixed-term role focuses on project management, operational efficiency, and employee support.

1. TALENT Grant Project Management:
   • Implementation and management of the TALENT Grant.
   • Development component including manager training, leadership forums, and a learning platform.
   • Retention efforts via team building and engagement programs.
   • HRIS implementation for operational enhancement.
2. Core People Operations Management:
   • Maintaining administrative systems (personnel files, contracts, etc.).
   • Managing the People Operations backlog (data entry, updates).
3. Director of People Operations Support:
   • Administrative tasks, contract management.
   • Supporting events and initiatives.
4. Compensation and Benefits Support:
   • Assisting with the compensation cycle and benefits management.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in People Operations.
• Training and development experience.
• Cross-cultural and remote team experience.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Logistical coordination experience.
• Knowledge of accounting systems.
