Your RoleAt Polygon, we’re shaping the future of web3, and we need a process-driven People Operations Specialist to help build the infrastructure that powers our growth. This isn’t your typical HR role—it’s an opportunity to design and refine scalable systems that make operations seamless in an ever-evolving industry.
Location: Remote (United States) | Must be within +/- 1 hour of Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Your Responsibilities
- Own the onboarding experience – Guide new hires through a seamless transition, coordinate onboarding programs, and ensure a smooth start at Polygon.
- Manage employment contracts – Oversee the contract process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Keep HR operations running smoothly – Maintain and update our HRIS, manage Jira tickets, and continually refine processes for optimal efficiency.
- Create and refine key People resources – Develop and maintain employee handbooks, policies, onboarding materials, and a well-organized digital filing system for employee records.
- Drive HR programs and improvements – Collaborate on initiatives across onboarding, offboarding, performance management, DEI, employee engagement, and retention.
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years of experience in People Operations or Human Resources.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with compensation practices at a web3 company (ideally, related to token allocations).
- Strong documentation skills – You know how to simplify complex processes into clear, actionable resources.
- Experience with HRIS systems and a knack for keeping records organized.
- Exceptional organizational and process management abilities – You thrive in structured environments and can build efficient workflows.
- Proven relationship-building skills across diverse teams.
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Self-motivated and adaptable – You work well independently and can navigate change with ease.
