As Relyance AI’s People Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for covering the maternity leave of our current Sr. People Ops Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to provide critical support during a period of maternity leave, focusing on the systems and operational aspects of HR.
What You'll Do:
- HRIS Management: Serve as a key administrator for our HRIS (Namely), ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, and optimal utilization of its features.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, including data entry, system setup, new hire paperwork, and initial benefit enrollment. Manage offboarding processes efficiently.
- Benefit Administration Support: Assist with various aspects of benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries, ensuring employees have accurate and timely information.
- Employment Sponsorships: Manage employment sponsorship processes, including preparing documentation and liaising with immigration counsel as needed.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, build automation within Namely and other HR tools, and improve overall efficiency.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records, generate HR reports as needed, and assist with data analysis to support People Operations initiatives.
- Employee Support: Respond to employee inquiries related to HR systems, policies, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
- Compliance: Ensure all HR operations comply with relevant labor laws and company policies.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Support the People Operations team with various ad-hoc projects and initiatives as they arise.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in an HR Operations or People Operations role, with a strong focus on HR systems and processes.
- HRIS Expertise: Proven experience as an administrator with Namely HRIS is required.
- Automation Mindset: Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation solutions within HR systems to improve efficiency.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information.
