THE POSITION: The People Partner reports to the People Director and works closely with the European and global HR team. This role supports the HR needs of managers and employees across multiple European countries.

We are looking for a senior HR professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on, operational mindset.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with HR leadership to understand business needs across Europe and support day-to-day HR operations.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, compensation and benefits, absence management, employee data, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Ensure data integrity across HR systems and tools.
  • Act as liaison between Shared Services (HR, Finance, Legal) and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage interactions with authorities and external providers related to C&B, social security, and mobility.
  • Support the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Administer HR programs including performance and talent management, recognition, morale, development, leaves, disciplinary matters, and investigations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws.
  • Stay current on HR trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, including AI applications in HR.
  • Support international mobility and relocation processes.
  • Guide stakeholders through sensitive conversations and transitions.
  • Lead or support initiatives in training, diversity, inclusion, and engagement.
  • Act as an ambassador for company culture and support internal communication.
  • Demonstrate commitment to DE&I through inclusive behaviors and proactive bias management.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of previous HR operations experience, out of which 3-5 years within an international environment
  • Proven working experience of employment-related laws and regulations in more than one European country: Italy is mandatory, Spain and Portugal would be ideal, any other country would be a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Italian. Any other European language will be a plus
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in HR.
  • Keen attention to detail, experience in organizing and leading projects with many different data sources
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Pragmatic, hands-on attitude, solution oriented
  • Flexible, adaptable, comfortable in dealing with change and competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, data-driven mentality
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Experience with a comprehensive HRIS systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
