Turnitin is seeking a People Partnerships & Employee Relations Director for their Global People Team, located in the APAC region (Philippines remote).
This role will report to the Senior Director and partner with senior leadership, supporting the entire employee lifecycle, focusing on employee relations, engagement, inclusion and operational efficiency. Must have a deep understanding of APAC employment law (Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Thailand).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop stakeholder relationships with Turnitin Leaders.
- Support People Strategy development and delivery, linking to business needs.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Leaders and their teams.
- Improve operational and people team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to operational partners.
- Execute annual and bi-annual plans/OKRs, focusing on key metrics (Turnover, Retention, Diversity).
- Advise Leaders on organizational design and development.
- Forecast talent needs and build talent pipelines.
- Research best practices and mature key people practices.
- Support the entire GPP team as needed.
- Drive and sustain change, ensuring process documentation and automation.
- Translate information into data to support decision-making.
- Focus on process improvement.
- Champion Company Values and Culture.
- Support operational strategy for employee engagement and relations.
- Drive positive outcomes for DEI and Social Impact programs.
- Communicate transparently and openly.
- Work closely with the Talent Development & Culture Team.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years global HR experience in a multicultural environment.
- Experience in a SaaS or tech industry preferred.
- Strategic thinking and tactical execution ability.
- Knowledge of relevant HR/employment law regulations.
- Employee Relations experience in multiple APAC geographies.
- Technological proficiency (HRIS, ATS, Employee Engagement platforms).
- Data literacy and experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Strong C-suite communication and presentation skills.
- Negotiation, project management, conflict management, and change management skills.
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or relevant experience.
