Full-Time Physician Assistant

About the role: The Physician Assistant will care for children and adults with eating disorders via Equip's telehealth platform. Physician Assistants are essential members of Equip's virtual treatment team, working alongside a therapist, dietitian, peer mentor, and family mentor.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments and diagnoses of eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions (psychiatric consultation available).
• Implement medication treatment plans for eating disorders and co-occurring conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Utilize between-session messaging for patient support.
• Engage in treatment team meetings and supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Physician Assistant Certification
• Active NP licenses (and cross licensing as applicable)
• 3+ years experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
• Commitment to excellent evidence-based care, clinical skills advancement, and professional development
• Effective communication with patients and their carers, and timely responses to messages
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 8-hour days with 1-hour break
• 2 days a week from 9 am - 6 pm
• 3 days from 8 am - 5 pm
• No weekends
• No on-call

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000/year
