LEAP Consulting Group is seeking a commercial leader to spearhead growth in the healthcare, clinical labs, non-human labs, diagnostics, and life sciences sector.
This senior executive will drive strategic partnerships, revenue growth, and market expansion, leveraging LEAP's expertise in software and robotic automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for clinical labs and digital healthcare solutions.
- Drive new business acquisition and exceed revenue targets by securing enterprise-level partnerships.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clinical lab executives and technology vendors.
- Identify client pain points and position LEAP as a trusted partner.
- Leverage deep knowledge of clinical lab operations to align solutions with client needs.
- Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into actionable opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and position tailored solutions for clients.
- Promote LEAP's strengths in data strategies, robotic lab automation, and operational scaling.
- Partner with practice leads to align sales efforts with service delivery capabilities.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing business development team.
- Develop a personal brand aligned with the company's culture, fostering new business opportunities.
Experience:
Candidates must meet one of the following profiles:
- Seasoned Executive Leader: 8+ years of leadership in clinical laboratories, with a strong background in digital transformation initiatives (Portal Solutions, LIMS implementations, Robotic Lab Automation, ERP, etc.)
- Seasoned Sales Leader: 8+ years of sales leadership experience with an established network of relationships across national commercial clinical laboratories.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of lab workflows, IT system integration (EMR, LIS, CRM), and regulatory landscapes.
- Exceptional consultative selling skills.
- Proven relationship management and negotiation skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with LIMS, lab robotics, HL7, FHIR, and compliance frameworks (CLIA, CAP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
Other Requirements:
- Comfort communicating in-person, by phone, video, and collaboration tools.
- Independent team player, professional, and kind.
- Tech-savvy and fairly technical.
