Job Description: We are seeking a Principal AI Researcher to join our Applied Research team, shaping the future of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). Responsibilities include designing, developing, and scaling novel algorithms and models for diverse modalities (text, images, audio, video, time series).

Responsibilities:

• Lead and be subject matter expert for key GenAI technologies (data pipelines, training, reinforcement learning, model architecture, multi-expert systems, multimodal models).
• Play a hands-on role in all aspects of GenAI research across our platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless innovation and product leadership.
• Participate in high-level technical decisions, technology assessment, and roadmap planning.
• Stay current with GenAI trends, disseminating research results at top-tier conferences/journals.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of rapid innovation.

Required Qualifications:

• PhD/MSc in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 8+ years AI research experience, with 3+ years in GenAI, acting as hands-on technical leader.
• Strong background in parallel/distributed computing (preferably cloud).
• Proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences/journals.
• Skills in probability, statistics, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, audio/speech processing, data wrangling, model evaluation.
• Proficiency in Python, version control (Git), and code repository collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in relevant field.
• 8+ years applied ML/AI research experience.
• Experience developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
