Location: Netherlands (remote, possible site Sliedrecht).
Role overview: As a Principal Application Support Consultant you will be the first point of contact for customers on IT and business application queries, progressing and resolving support cases and coordinating with R&D and colleagues.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to clients and internal teams and progress issues to conclusion.
- Investigate, document and process application defects and present process improvement suggestions.
- Handle customer escalations, take ownership of complex issues and keep customers informed.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement and chargeable activities.
- Train and mentor less experienced team members.
Requirements:
- Fluent English and Dutch (mandatory).
- Several years' experience with ERP systems and customer-facing support.
- Excellent SQL skills and common knowledge of Microsoft technologies and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL practices; finance background is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, time-management and customer service skills.
Other: Full-time role; security/background checks may be required for customer projects and access to sensitive data.
