ServiceNow is seeking a Principal Strategist to join the Inspire Value team, an integral part of the Global Sales Strategic Accounts team. This team focuses on revolutionizing the enterprise software customer experience. They understand industries, customer strategy, and desired outcomes, deeply engaging on how ServiceNow can enable digital transformation via industry solutions and innovative partnerships.
Inspire Value employs the Now Value methodology to create engaging customer experiences. They design strategic, consultative interactions to build consensus on how ServiceNow's core capabilities support CXO business transformation objectives.
The Principal Strategist builds trusted advisor relationships with customers, partners, and internal ServiceNow teams. This role is central to strategic accounts, acting as a connector across account teams and go-to-market teams to drive exceptional customer experiences. Focus is on customer priorities and business outcomes.
Customer Advisory:
- Engage executives to define and manage digital transformation advisory engagements.
- Lead discovery workshops with customer leadership to understand goals and challenges.
- Document and present insights and solutions.
- Create high-quality deliverables, roadmaps, and business cases.
- Communicate and advise in 1:1 and 1:many environments.
Sales and Customer Success Advisory:
- Work with sales and customer success to determine account plans and strategy.
- Provide expertise for account assessment and prioritization.
- Offer full lifecycle business outcome and value realization advice.
Thought leadership:
- Identify and lead the creation of new intellectual property (best practices, white papers, etc.).
- Improve existing methods and frameworks.
- Work with ServiceNow teams on a business consulting approach to sales.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of transportation and logistics management experience.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
- 10+ years of relevant experience as a Management Consultant (cloud tech exposure preferred) or customer-facing strategy manager (technology vendor experience preferred).
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
Preferred skills:
- Executive/leadership experience with digital transformation.
- Experience in a major industry (e.g., FSI, Telco, Manufacturing, Retail).
- C-Level relationship development and communication of complex topics.
- Public speaking, meeting facilitation, and whiteboarding experience.
- Deep customer connections in relevant regions.
- High executive presence with a humble demeanor.
- Analytical and financial experience.
- Enjoyment of a collaborative environment.
- Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
