As APAC Warehouse Contract Manager, you will provide commercial expertise to the APAC logistics organization to optimize business value with external partners and drive performance in both cost and customer services.
Main responsibilities include:
- Contract life-cycle management to maintain contract standards, local laws, and regulations.
- Secure that contracts & business cases are presented, approved, and signed according to approval limits, deadlines, and mandates.
- Track and ensure compliance of all current agreements in APAC.
- Act as representative to local and global legal teams.
- Collaborate with different functions to review and develop commercial standards/terms/frameworks in contracts.
- Timely report potential cost impact arising from contract negotiations.
- Drive value and profitability by identifying potentials.
- Provide and drive clear standards for supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and service providers (warehousing, leases).
- Support running large-scale tenders.
- Evaluate options, risks, potentials, and provide recommendations to improve contract conditions.
- Evaluate flexibility needs (termination clauses, amendments, prolongations, indexation, fixed costs).
- Monitor and analyze spend data per vendor and ensure costs are in line with contracts.
