What We’re Looking For:
Peacock, NBCUniversal’s streaming service, is seeking a Principal Technical Account Manager to manage a team dedicated to our MVPD & Telco experiences across all of our Global propositions.
This role requires excellent communication, strong project/business management skills, a keen understanding of the streaming & media landscape, and the ability to interface with external & internal partners.
The position requires maintaining key relationships with third-party distribution partners within both business and technology teams. A strong understanding of streaming technologies (including delivery to partners like Comcast, Verizon and Deutsch Telcom) is critical.
About the Team: The TAM team establishes NBCUniversal Streaming Services as a contemplated and innovation leader with strategic distribution partners.
The TAMs ensure operational efficiency with partners and establish/maintain reporting and monitoring of key metrics for ongoing partnership programs, focusing on operational and technical areas of measure.
Lead Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with large reseller distribution partners (MVPDs, Telcos, Enterprises), fostering strong relationships with new partners.
Strategic Leadership & Scaling: Develop and drive the strategy for scaling the Technical Account Management team globally.
Operational Excellence: Implement cross-functional operational processes to drive synergy among stakeholders and streamline processes.
Collaborate on Commercial & Partnership Strategies: Build strong relationships with Commercial/Partnership teams to execute GSPT Partner strategy, maximizing economies of scale across distribution partnerships and our GSP platform.
Onboarding & Partner Integration: Lead the successful onboarding of new partners through the ‘Standard Commercial Partnerships’ (Partner Gateway). This includes leading technical sessions, aligning contract terms, technology implementation, and business objectives.
Team Management: Lead a high-performing team of engaged, self-motivated individuals to support Product, Technology, and Commercial teams.
Stakeholder Communication: Drive and support cross-functional workstreams for clear communication with stakeholders and monitor program/deal status.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Deal Implementation: Partner with technology, product, and business teams to ensure feasibility of technology-related deal terms.
Operational Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to reduce operational burdens and minimize platform/partner incidents, identifying root causes and defining next steps.
Experience Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
- Technical Account Management, tech business management, business administration, technology, or engineering background
- Experience managing a small-medium team
- Extensive experience in end-to-end technology and operations integrations
- Superior customer relationship and account management skills
- Proven understanding of billing & application integrations (with technology partners, MVPD integrators like Charter & Xfinity)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively to various levels
- Proactive problem-solving and excellent time management skills
