Full-Time Product Assessor / Senior Product Assessor

As a Product Assessor, you'll conduct technical file reviews to ensure product safety and intended performance, adhering to UK and EU medical device regulations.

You'll support CE marking activities and communicate with colleagues and clients regarding product assessment.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent experience in medicine, dentistry, biotechnology, engineering, or related fields.
• 4+ years of professional experience in the orthopaedic/dental products sector.
• Minimum 2 years of direct involvement in dental product design, manufacturing, and testing, or roles requiring deep understanding of related scientific principles.
• Prior experience conducting orthopaedic or dental product assessments for a Certification/Notified Body (Technical Documentation Reviewer) is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional English proficiency.

Orthopaedic and Dental Device Knowledge:

• Knowledge through design, manufacturing, or testing of devices in these areas:
  • Non-active osteo- and orthopaedic implants (MDN1102)
  • Prosthetic joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder, etc)
  • Artificial spinal disc, spinal cages
  • Bone graft substitute, bone cements
  • Osteosynthesis devices (nails, screws, plates)
  • Non-active dental implants and dental materials (MDN1103)
  • Dental implants, abutments, root canal filler
  • Non-active, non-implantable dental material (MDN1209)
  • Etching solutions, braces, dental cements
