Job Details
We’re seeking a detail-obsessed, user-centered Product Owner to lead the experience design and ongoing evolution of GeneDx’s physical and digital test requisition forms (TRFs), test kits, and other forms.
These are core customer touchpoints, often representing the first tangible interaction with GeneDx for both patients and providers. You will ensure these artifacts are clear, accessible, intuitive, and frictionless, meeting critical operational, clinical, and regulatory requirements.
Whether accessed through a website, sent by email, printed or physically mailed, these materials must deliver both function and clarity for a wide variety of patient and provider care scenarios.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the experience design, execution, backlog, and day-to-day product delivery for all TRFs, test kits, and form-related workflows.
- Lead cross-functional discovery to identify and prioritize user needs across providers, patients, internal teams, and logistics partners.
- Partner with Product Design/UX, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Lab Ops, Client Services, and Compliance to design clinically accurate, user-friendly, and regulatory-compliant materials.
- Act as the go-to expert on how TRFs, kits, and forms are used across all scenarios (manual vs. digital initiation, self-pay vs. insurance flows, across clinical specialties, etc.).
- Define and test omni-channel delivery approaches (printed, web-downloadable, email attachments, mobile access, physical shipment, etc.) for ease and accessibility.
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop tools for generating dynamic, context-sensitive documents (pre-filled TRFs, kits matched to workflows).
- Deliverables include annotated wireframes, UX specs, UAT scripts, content review logs, MVP feature definitions, and documentation flow diagrams.
- Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., % of orders with complete documentation, time to return test kits, % of users reporting form-related confusion or delays, support tickets tied to TRFs or test kit processes).
