Full-Time Public Affairs Director

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced Public Affairs Director to join our growing public affairs team. This role will be based in Washington, D.C.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Management: Lead the development and execution of public affairs campaigns. Manage budgets and consultants.
2. Strategic Execution: Coordinate and participate in public policy strategy implementation. Build relationships with associations and stakeholders.
3. Targeted Advocacy and External Affairs: Execute targeted advocacy before legislative bodies and serve as a brand ambassador.
4. Message Development: Craft clear and compelling messaging that aligns with strategic objectives. Collaborate with internal teams.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure integrated advocacy efforts.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, etc.) is required. Advanced degree is preferred. 10+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or related field.

Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred. Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategies on complex legislative issues. Ability to translate complex information into understandable narratives, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Hybrid Work Model: Hybrid work model with in-person days required.

Salary: $204,250 - $280,820. Range does not include benefits.
