Full-Time Public Policy Director

Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and experienced Public Affairs Director to join our growing public affairs team. This role will be based in Washington, D.C.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Management: Lead the development and execution of targeted public affairs campaigns. Manage budgets and consultants.
2. Strategic Execution: Coordinate and participate in policy strategy implementation, build relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Targeted Advocacy and External Affairs: Execute advocacy before legislative bodies and serve as an external brand ambassador.
4. Message Development: Craft compelling messaging aligned with strategic objectives.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure integrated approaches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in public affairs or related field.
• Experience within the healthcare industry preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in strategy development and execution.
• Strong understanding of the legislative process.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hybrid Work Model: Defined in-person/onsite days for collaboration and work-from-home days.

Salary: $204,250 - $280,820
