We're adding a Quality Assurance Manager to our Tech team!
As a Quality Assurance Manager, you'll be a proactive problem solver, building test systems and processes to improve quality, prevent issues, and ensure seamless operations. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and designers.
Your focus is on identifying and resolving quality issues, managing large-scale system testing, and ensuring high-quality product delivery as Snapsheet scales.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team, including mentoring and managing direct reports.
- Foster a collaborative environment focusing on communication and continuous improvement.
- Lead end-to-end product QA across functional, automation, and performance testing.
- Define and implement QA strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive discussions with product and leadership teams to determine testing strategies.
- Improve visibility and collaboration in automated testing.
- Develop tests for large-scale data migrations.
- Simulate system data growth and evaluate future scenarios.
- Design scalable test automation patterns.
- Create and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI pipelines.
- Design and implement performance testing using tools like Grafana k6, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
- Ensure traceability between testing activities and project outcomes.
- Establish and maintain KPIs for quality.
- Develop quality metrics, test plans, strategies, and artifacts.
- Proactively manage tasks and resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Provide QA reporting, including test status, defect resolution, and prevention.
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills (Ruby, JavaScript preferred)
- Experience building test automation frameworks (Selenium, Capybara, Cypress)
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins, Travis CI)
- Familiarity with project management (Jira, Confluence), version control (Git, GitHub), and test management (Zephyr, TestRail)
- Proficiency in non-functional testing tools (Grafana k6, JMeter)
- Experience with SQL, Docker, and performance testing (a plus)
- 8+ years of QA experience, emphasizing web application, performance, and API testing automation
- 5+ years mentoring QA teams and leading cross-functional collaboration
- Proven ability to define QA strategies aligned with business goals, and drive innovation
- Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution skills
- Motivational and organizational skills
- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
