Full-Time RCM Workflow Specialist

RCM Workflow Specialist (Athena required)

Under the direction of the RCM Systems Manager, the RPA & RCM Systems Specialist is responsible for the oversight of all Robotic Process Automations (RPAs or bots) that support RCM.

Primary Job Duties:

1. Daily Responsibilities
   • Monitor daily output reports
   • Triage and research performance issues
   • Review and identify performance issues and triage accordingly
   • Maintain RCM RPA inventory on the Monday Board
   • Partner with Product Engineering regarding statuses and actions required
2. RPA Development
   • Identify opportunities for new bots automations that reduce cost or generate revenue
   • Manage inbound bot requests; supporting data collection as needed
   • Develop workflows in partnership with the RCM Training Team
   • Understanding and acknowledging all policy expectations prior to bot development
   • Understand and adhere to Product Engineering requirements for RPA submission
   • Testing in partnership with Product Team
   • Maintaining open communication with the Product Team throughout the preparation, development, testing, and production deployment phases.
3. Workflow Management
   • Develop an in-depth understanding of RCM workflows and best practices
   • Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency of bots and of existing RCM workflows
   • Monitor athenaOne for updates that will impact bot workflows and take appropriate and timely action to prevent interruption
4. Communication
   • Communicate bot status updates to stakeholders and management as needed
   • Maintain Google Groups to support consistent report distribution and visibility to appropriate stakeholders.

Education:

• High School Graduate
• Medical claims billing experience required
• 1+ yrs of RCM training and workflow experience required
• AthenaOne experience is required
• Experience developing and/or managing RPA preferred
• Microsoft Excel skills preferred (e.g., VLOOKUP, sort/filtering/formatting, pivot table, and formulas)
• Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

Salary: $55,000.00 to $60,000.00 in base pay (exclusive of bonus or benefits)

Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 10% based on performance.

Technical Requirements (Remote Only): Minimum 5 Mbps Download Speed and 3 Mbps Upload Speed. Speed tests recommended (e.g., https://www.speedtest.net/).
