Recruiter Responsibilities:
- Finding Candidates: Lead detailed job scope meetings with hiring leaders to determine position specifications, providing relevant market data and recommendations. Review candidates from the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Evaluate qualifications and determine those to move forward. Develop and manage recruitment marketing plans or sourcing plans. Source candidates via resume databases, search engines, and networking sites. Solicit referrals and utilize Cielo's software for talent community outreach.
- Engaging Candidates: Connect with talent communities via various media (phone, email, social media). Articulate the job opportunity's value proposition. Prepare candidates for interviews, coaching them on logistics, schedule, attire, and expectations. Provide timely updates on application and interview status.
- Assessing Candidates: Draft and use appropriate phone interview templates. Evaluate candidate phone interview notes and skills assessments against position requirements. Conduct skills testing (if necessary) and evaluate results. Review background and reference information (if necessary).
- Influencing the Hire: Keep candidates engaged throughout the process, ensuring consistent communication. Partner with hiring leaders to determine offer details, using market data and compensation guidelines. Articulate job offers and drive candidate acceptance, anticipating and negotiating counter-offers.
- Service Excellence: Adhere to all regulations (OFCCP and other compliance standards). Deliver a strong candidate slate, building talent pipelines with multiple qualified candidates. Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities to hiring leaders and Cielo leadership. Identify and research difficulties with searches, and recommend solutions to internal and external stakeholders. Proactively and regularly communicate the search status to the hiring leader with recommendations.
Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum two years' recruiting experience in a corporate, RPO, or agency setting. Experience using recruitment technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media tools.
Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Boolean search techniques, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), common Human Resources principles, practices, and metrics related to talent acquisition.
