Recruiter Responsibilities:
Service Excellence:
- Service excellence throughout the recruitment cycle.
- Brand ambassador for the client.
- Deliver exceptional talent.
- Proactive and timely communication.
- Subject matter expert in talent acquisition.
- Consultative direction and industry expertise to hiring leaders.
- Strict adherence to all regulations (OFCCP and other compliance standards).
- Strong candidate slate, building talent pipelines.
- Accurate and regular reporting to hiring leaders and Cielo leadership.
- Identify search difficulties and recommend solutions.
- Proactive and regular communication to hiring leaders.
Finding Candidates:
- Detailed job scope meetings with hiring leaders to determine position specifications.
- Relevant market data and recommendations for search.
- Review candidates from Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Evaluate candidate qualifications against position requirements.
- Develop and manage recruitment marketing plans or sourcing plans.
- Source candidates via resume databases, search engines, and networking sites using Boolean search.
- Solicit and pursue referrals.
- Utilize Cielo’s proprietary software for mobile and email campaigning.
Engaging Candidates:
- Connect with talent communities using various media (phone, email, social media).
- Articulate value proposition to candidates.
- Prepare candidates for interviews (logistical information, schedule, attire).
- Provide timely updates on application and interview status.
Assessing Candidates:
- Draft and use phone interview templates.
- Compare candidate phone interview notes and skills assessments.
- Determine if candidates are a match for the role.
- Issue and evaluate skills testing (if required).
- Review background and reference information (if required).
Influencing the Hire:
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
- Consistent communication on the status of the search.
- Partner with hiring leaders to determine offer details.
- Articulate a job offer to candidate and drive for acceptance.
- Anticipate and negotiate counter-offers.
Education:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources, or related field is strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years’ recruiting experience in a corporate, RPO, or agency setting.
- Experience using recruitment technologies (ATS, social media tools).
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in Boolean search techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of common HR principles, practices, and metrics.
Work Location: US
Work Arrangement: Remote for candidates with the right to live and work in the US
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm / 9am-6pm US Central Time
