What You Get To Do: Join Dungarvin’s Talent Acquisition team and play a vital role in connecting great people to meaningful work. As a TA Specialist, you’ll manage a high-volume requisition load, build strong candidate and hiring manager relationships, and deliver a stellar experience at every step of the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, career sites, hiring events, referrals, and creative outreach.
  • Screen and evaluate talent, checking references and aligning motivators with business needs.
  • Build and maintain an active, searchable pipeline in SmartRecruiters with smart tagging and talent community tools.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers, offering insights on roadblocks like compensation, skills, and sourcing tactics.
  • Represent Dungarvin at career fairs, networking, and community events to build awareness and attract talent.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience and act as a true brand ambassador.

MUST HAVE:

  • 1+ year of focused high-volume recruiting experience coupled with a bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED coupled with 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience.
  • Experience sourcing, interviewing, and hiring hourly workforces
  • Proficiency with job boards and sourcing platforms, such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) utilization (We use SmartRecruiters)
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SharePoint and virtual platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and GoToMeeting.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Prior experience working within Healthcare, Social Services, Retail, Manufacturing, hospitality, etc.
  • Staffing agency experience.

SKILLS CRITICAL TO MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN ROLE:

  • Be a true partner. Work hand-in-hand with Operations and HR to anticipate staffing needs and proactively pipeline candidates for both planned openings and urgent placements.
  • Build dynamic talent pipelines. Use innovative, diverse sourcing strategies to line up top candidates ahead of hiring dates.
  • Drive projects to the finish line. Turn deadlines into clear, action-based goals and keep recruitment efforts on track.
  • Influence and inform. Confidently present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, sharing insights and recommendations that shape hiring decisions.
  • Stay agile. Thrive in a fast-moving environment, pivot quickly, and adapt to new priorities.
  • Think critically. Spot connections, use sound judgment, and make choices aligned with strategy and company culture.
  • Lead with drive. Take initiative, deliver strong results, and continuously improve recruitment processes.
  • Customer Service: Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
