About the Opportunity
Pair Team is seeking a highly motivated Referral Coordinator to manage and facilitate the referral process, ensuring patients receive prompt communication and timely care. The role requires navigating insurance and healthcare requirements, working cross-functionally with the care team, and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Process, track, and coordinate patient referrals.
- Schedule PCP and/or specialist appointments.
- Coordinate with pharmacies (e.g., medication received/picked up).
- Verify patient PCP and insurance (including prior authorization).
- Coordinate Release of Information.
- Assist with non-urgent patient follow-up and information collection.
What You'll Need
- 1+ years of backend healthcare/operations experience.
- Confidence in owning roles and proposing solutions.
- Proven track record of exceeding performance indicators.
- Reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills utilizing multiple technology platforms (e.g., Google Suite, Slack, Looker).
- HIPAA compliance and internet access required.
