Full-Time Regional Manager – Spec ER & Urgent Care

Leadership and management: Personally responsible for overseeing and leading the practice managers at each hospital. Responsible for working directly with the practice managers on the operations at the hospital, including staffing, inventory, budgeting, employee and client scheduling, marketing, employee training, and human resources. Act as a key resource and partner to the managing veterinarian at each location and responsible for building a strong relationship with that doctor. Also responsible for partnering with them on the work you are doing with the practice manager and incorporating their feedback and goals in your work with each practice.

Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to review the financial reports with the practice leadership team and develop strategies for each practice.

Responsible for reviewing the non-financial reports (inventory budgets; scheduling budgets) and driving plans of improvement based on the results.

Responsible for the post-acquisition integration process for newly acquired clinics.

Expected to travel to the practices 4 days per week throughout the market and have 1 office day (but could be at practices 5 days a week as needed). Occasional late nights and weekends may be required based on business hours and operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Effective communication, team building and leadership skills
• Highly organized and able to manage time effectively
• 3+ years of experience managing multiple locations for a multi-site operator in the veterinary industry
• Experience in veterinary specialty, emergency, and/or urgent care space required
• Experience as a veterinary credential technician or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Self-starter that is excited to work in an entrepreneurial environment and can take initiative
• Strong analytical skills and experience reviewing budgets and financial statements
• Proficient with full suite of Microsoft office products
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education is required
• CVPM desirable, but not required
• Must live within or be willing to relocate to North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.
