Turnitin is seeking a Regional People Partnerships Director to join our Global People Team (EMEA location, willing to work EMEA hours). This role will report to the Senior Director, Global People Partnerships and serve as the People Business Partner within our EMEA Operations. The incumbent will primarily partner with frontline Leadership Team members and employees, interacting with other teams for tactical and strategic support related to the employee lifecycle. Specific focus includes employment law, employee relations, engagement, inclusion, operational efficiency, and effectiveness aligned with Turnitin values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as trusted advisor to operational partners and aligned business partner within the people team.
- Develop stakeholder relationships with Turnitin people managers.
- Support the People Strategy, linking it operationally to business needs, providing coaching and guidance for managers.
- Support operational and people team transformational efforts, improving overall efficiency.
- Execute annual/bi-annual plans/OKRs, ensuring continuous improvement in key metrics (Turnover, Retention, Diversity, etc.).
- Advise Turnitin Leaders on organizational design and development.
- Work closely with Stakeholders and Talent Acquisition to forecast talent needs.
- Research best practices to mature and sustain key people practices.
- Support the entire GPP people team as needed.
- Drive and sustain change, ensuring documented and automated processes, engaging COEs and key partners.
- Translate information into data to support decision making.
- Be a proactive and personally accountable communicator.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years global HR experience in a multicultural environment.
- Extensive employee relations experience across multiple countries.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology industry is preferred.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a solutions-based mindset.
- Strong operational knowledge of HR/employment law regulations.
- Technological savvy with HRIS, ATS, Employee Engagement platforms.
- Data literate and experience driving data-driven decision-making.
- Strong C-suite communications skills.
- Strong capability in negotiations, project management, conflict management, and change management.
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or relevant experience.
- SHRM/CIPD or equivalent membership (preferred).
