Turnitin is seeking a Regional People Partnerships Director to join our Global People Team. (Must be located in EMEA, willing to work EMEA hours).
This role will report to the Senior Director, Global People Partnerships and serve as the People Business Partner within EMEA Operations.
This role will primarily partner with frontline Leadership Team members and their employees, interacting with other teams to provide tactical hands-on support and strategic thought leadership related to the employee lifecycle.
Focus areas include employment law, employee relations, engagement, inclusion, operational efficiency, and effectiveness aligned to Turnitin values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as trusted advisor to operational partners and business partner within the people team for people and employee relations items.
- Develop open stakeholder relationships with people managers to support their people responsibilities.
- Support delivery of People Strategy, connecting it to business needs, and providing coaching & development for managers.
- Support operational and people team transformational efforts to improve efficiency & effectiveness.
- Execute on annual & bi-annual plans/OKRs.
- Advise Turnitin Leaders on organizational design and development.
- Work with Stakeholders and Talent Acquisition to forecast talent needs and ensure a pipeline of exceptional talent.
- Research best practices to mature key people practices.
- Support the GPP people team as needed.
- Drive and sustain change, documenting and automating processes.
- Translate information into data to support decision making.
- Be a proactive and accountable communicator ensuring transparent information flow.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years global HR experience in a multicultural environment.
- Extensive employee relations experience across multiple countries.
- Experience in a SaaS or technology industry preferred.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Strong problem-solving, solutions-based mindset.
- Strong operational knowledge of HR/employment law.
- Technological savvy (HRIS, ATS, Employee Engagement platforms, Google Suite, Apple products).
- Data literacy and experience driving data-driven decision making.
- Exceptional C-suite communications/presentation skills.
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management or relevant experience.
- SHRM/CIPD or equivalent membership (preferred).
