Job Details

NETZSCH Pumps USA is seeking a self-motivated, experienced, mechanically-inclined Regional Sales Manager for the Western region of the US.

This is a strategic, high-profile position responsible for managing sales activities in the assigned territory, reporting to the Business Field Sales Director.

The ideal candidate should reside in the Western US, near a major city or airport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support distributors technically and commercially in the assigned market.
  • Visit wastewater treatment and industrial plants to identify aftermarket opportunities and develop spare parts business.
  • Assist in developing and implementing plans to combat parts piracy.
  • Sell NETZSCH products and services to meet/exceed regional sales targets.
  • Research and recommend new sales partners.
  • Provide product, application, and competition training to partner staff.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with partners to build customer relationships.
  • Represent NETZSCH at industry events.
  • Provide market trends, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence.
  • Participate in marketing activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience selling industrial equipment, preferably pumps.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, persuasion, and cooperation skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve results.
  • Ability to develop regional strategy plans and roadmaps to meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated project execution.
  • Ability to conduct business and technical discussions, and present to groups.
  • Valid driver's license and current passport.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% (domestic and occasional international).
