NETZSCH Pumps USA is seeking a self-motivated, experienced, mechanically-inclined Regional Sales Manager for the Western region of the US.
This is a strategic, high-profile position responsible for managing sales activities in the assigned territory, reporting to the Business Field Sales Director.
The ideal candidate should reside in the Western US, near a major city or airport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support distributors technically and commercially in the assigned market.
- Visit wastewater treatment and industrial plants to identify aftermarket opportunities and develop spare parts business.
- Assist in developing and implementing plans to combat parts piracy.
- Sell NETZSCH products and services to meet/exceed regional sales targets.
- Research and recommend new sales partners.
- Provide product, application, and competition training to partner staff.
- Conduct joint sales calls with partners to build customer relationships.
- Represent NETZSCH at industry events.
- Provide market trends, sales growth strategies, and competitive intelligence.
- Participate in marketing activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience selling industrial equipment, preferably pumps.
- Strong negotiation, communication, persuasion, and cooperation skills.
- Proven ability to achieve results.
- Ability to develop regional strategy plans and roadmaps to meet sales and profitability goals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated project execution.
- Ability to conduct business and technical discussions, and present to groups.
- Valid driver's license and current passport.
- Ability to travel up to 70% (domestic and occasional international).
