Full-Time Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Psychologist or Rehab Counsellor for a Rehab Consultant role within our multidisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and educational workplace rehabilitation services.
• Consulting, developing, reviewing, and advising on return-to-work programs.
• Liaising with all relevant parties to support injured workers' well-being.
• Conducting initial assessments and identifying return-to-work barriers.
• Designing, implementing, and monitoring rehabilitation programs.
• Identifying and designing suitable duties for injured workers.
• Maintaining appropriate statistical standards.
• Performing worksite, vocational, functional, ergonomic, equipment, home, and job analysis.
• Fostering collaboration between insurers, employers, and treatment providers.
• Arranging retraining and placement in alternative employment if necessary.
• Traveling to work sites and appointments.
• Maintaining high customer service standards.
• Building effective relationships with employers and healthcare providers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications and registration in relevant discipline.
• Experience in occupational rehabilitation or injury management (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Experience in an insurance or workers' compensation environment (preferred).
• Current driver's license, own vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance.
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory police clearance and Working with Children check.
