Full-Time Rehabilitation Consultant - Occupational Therapist

• Conduct initial assessments and identify return to work barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured worker to return to work
• Identify and design suitable duties for the worker
• Utilise clinical skills to support activities of daily living
• Recommend aid and services to support an independent recovery
• Maintain appropriate statistical standards
• Undertake specific services and assessments as required
• Forge the link between the insurer, employer and treatment providers
• Arrange appropriate retraining and placement in alternative employment
• Travel to work sites, appointments or other such areas, as needed
• Maintain high customer service standards and effective relationships

• Tertiary Qualifications and registration in your relevant discipline
• Experience in occupational rehab or injury management treatment will be viewed favourably
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective relationship building skills
• Demonstrated understanding of negotiation and conflict resolution
• Experience within an Insurance or Workers' Comp/CTP environment with be viewed favourably
• Current Drivers Licence, own vehicle and Comprehensive car insurance
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory Police Clearance and Working with Children check
