Full-Time Rehabilitation Consultant - Social Worker

We are seeking professionals in Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or Social Work for an Occupational Rehabilitation role in Broome, WA.

The role is available for both full-time and part-time positions. New graduates are welcome!

Responsibilities include:

• Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
• Applying clinical knowledge for return-to-work outcomes
• Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
• Collaboration with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals
• Handling various schemes (workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Veterans Affairs, employer-funded programs)
• Assisting clients with return to health and return to work
• Completing assessments (initial, workplace, vocational) to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers, and identify suitable employment opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy
• Registration with AHPRA, ASORC, ESSA, AASW, or relevant governing body
• Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Compassion, kindness, and empathy
• Strong time management skills
• Current driver's license and comprehensive car insurance
