Reimbursement and Market Access Senior Manager DACH (m/f/d) is responsible for both tactical and strategic Health Economics, Reimbursement and Market Access delivery of in-market and pipeline Sirtex products primarily in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Secure funding: For in-market and pipeline Sirtex products across DACH region.
- Support local teams: In reimbursement/funding discussions, liaising with funding bodies and hospital departments.
- Define optimal strategy: Reimbursement/funding strategy for Sirtex portfolio in DACH region, considering market insights.
- Alignment: Ensure alignment between regional business plans and reimbursement activities.
- Value arguments: Leverage data sources and research to create compelling value arguments for DACH markets.
- Payer knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of DACH region payer environment, stakeholders and processes.
- Competitor analysis: Maintain knowledge around Sirtex competitor payer messaging and strategy.
- Supporting materials: Identify, design, and utilize supporting materials for funding negotiations.
- European strategy: Provide input into European reimbursement strategy, securing DACH region needs.
- Data gap development: Identify and communicate actionable data gap development.
- Stakeholder networks: Develop and maintain effective networks with payer stakeholders.
- Internal alignment: Seek input and alignment with key internal stakeholders.
- Evidence generation: Ensure strong alignment between Reimbursement & Market Access and R&D on evidence generation.
- Scientific congresses: Attend scientific congresses to stay abreast of developments and maintain relationships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years Market Access experience: from German market and proven funding negotiation record.
- Life science/sick fund background preferred: MSc in an economic discipline.
- In-depth understanding: of German medical device reimbursement and funding.
- Oncology experience desirable: but not essential.
- Strong Health Economic principles: Ability to assimilate and simplify data for payers.
- Payer connections: Well-connected with funding bodies in Germany and DACH region.
- Payer engagement experience: In-market and pre-launch assets in DACH region.
- Project management skills: Strong project management skills and team orientation.
- Communication skills: Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders.
- Commercial insight: Commercial insight, creative problem solving, and strong industry experience.
- Native German speaker: Excellent command of English (spoken/written).
