Faculty are essential to student and institutional success. As Unitek Learning grows its programs, faculty support and coaching are critical for an exceptional learning experience.
We seek a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Programmatic Trainer, focusing on healthcare education, with emphasis on nursing programs.
The Programmatic Trainer will provide nurse educator-specific training for our nursing core curriculum and address specific regulatory training as needed.
The Programmatic Trainer will also analyze and offer recommendations for continuous improvement, working closely with institutional leaders.
This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency with technology, deep understanding of pedagogy and instructional design principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and academic leadership.
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and deliver training programs supporting curriculum implementation for nursing programs.
- Guide faculty in delivering course content, assignments, and assessments aligning with program objectives and accreditation standards.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and professional development activities enhancing faculty knowledge and skills related to the nursing curriculum and student success.
- Partner with instructional design, faculty development, and academic departments for actionable feedback and continuous improvement in the faculty and student experience.
- Communicate areas of opportunity to academic leadership and collaborate on developing solutions/actions.
- Work with subject matter experts and instructional designers to align training materials with program goals.
- Evaluate training program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay current with trends in nursing education, online learning, and instructional technology.
- Provide ongoing support and mentoring to faculty, promoting student success and program excellence.
- Train on item analysis, assisting faculty in identifying trends for continuous improvement efforts.
- Address faculty concerns and follow-up with faculty and coaches to ensure expectations are met and students are supported.
- Identify and recognize excelling faculty.
- Promote community and develop rapport with faculty through engagement efforts.
- Coach faculty on integrated technologies and instructional resources, promoting best practices for student support.
- Collaborate with academic leadership to develop strategies for enhancing the overall quality of academic programs.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in higher education pedagogy.
- Design and deliver faculty workshops, training sessions, and develop resources to strengthen faculty effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of faculty training, feedback, and recommendations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary: Starting at $75,000 DOE
Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (nursing, education, instructional design, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in teaching or faculty support in higher education.
- Nursing background preferred
- Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS)
- Strong understanding of pedagogical principles, instructional design, and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
