Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for solving revenue cycle challenges? Join us as a Revenue Cycle Optimization Manager and play a pivotal role in reshaping financial performance and operational excellence.
In this high-impact leadership position, you'll drive innovation across the entire revenue cycle using data and process improvement techniques.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, developing, and implementing strategic initiatives for operational efficiency and reimbursement effectiveness.
- Focusing on continuous improvement in reimbursement operations (prior authorization, billing, coding, claims follow-up, and collections).
- Collaborating across reimbursement teams to improve processes and reduce claim denials.
- Developing and executing process improvement initiatives to optimize revenue cycle metrics.
- Leading root cause analysis and performance audits to identify inefficiencies and improve reimbursement timelines.
- Building and managing a framework for continuous quality improvement, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen techniques.
- Mentoring staff in improvement methodology and project execution.
- Monitoring and reporting on performance KPIs, developing dashboards and tracking mechanisms.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to align process improvements.
- Staying current with industry trends, payer changes, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
- Proven success implementing process improvement frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement processes and RCM metrics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Clear, effective communication skills
Compensation: $133,900 - $180,810 (base salary range)
