As a SASE Specialist, you drive the sale of the Palo Alto Networks SASE portfolio (Prisma Access, Prisma SD-Wan and Next Gen CASB) in the Western Region of the US. You work with various teams to execute the SASE Go-to-Market plan, providing thought leadership and enabling scale.
You are motivated to solve critical security challenges for our customers and exceed your quota.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with leadership to engage the SASE portfolio with customers, partners, and colleagues.
- Perform high-level sales planning for accurate forecasting.
- Build fundamental understanding of security threats, solutions, and network technologies.
- Leverage cross-functional resources to achieve quota.
- Stay updated on industry news and trends.
- Conduct in-person sessions, webinars and create learning materials.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Educate customers and partners on the modern network security landscape.
- Establish relationships and sell through channel partners.
- Travel 50%+ throughout the Western US.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of field or technical sales selling SASE or SD-WAN.
- Above-quota sales experience.
- Experience selling network infrastructure-based security appliances (Firewalls, SSL/IPSec VPNs, Security Proxies, Caches, SD-WAN).
- Practical experience with routing and switching.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working with channel partners.
- Excellent time management and self-direction skills.
