Your CareerAs a Sales Specialist for SASE, drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with some of our largest PANW accounts in Germany. You will collaborate with existing sales teams, strategizing account penetration. Focus on understanding customer challenges, qualifying needs, building relationships, and providing exceptional experiences.
Develop and drive SASE sales, leveraging relevant programs for strategic accounts. Lead internal initiatives to enhance storytelling (e.g., WIN/LOSS reviews, deal reviews) by creating a knowledge base and improving sales process/plays.
Participate in and lead office hours to support account team skill development.
Your Impact
- Manage SASE quota and ensure regional business health.
- Develop and execute SASE sales strategies for the region.
- Influence largest regional customers and partners.
- Participate in mega deals, positioning use cases and value propositions.
- Engage in external events (EBCs, Customer Roundtables, industry events).
Customer Activities and External Exposure
- Involvement in significant nascent mega deals, ensuring proper positioning of use cases, and delivering the value proposition effectively.
- Participation in external events – engaging in EBCs, Customer Roundtables, Industry events, and other external gatherings to represent Palo Alto Networks' Zero Trust & SASE Strategy
Prospecting and Lead Generation
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and key decision-makers.
- Utilize various channels (cold-calling, networking, social media, referrals) to generate a qualified pipeline.
Sales Presentations
- Develop compelling sales pitches and presentations.
- Communicate SASE value proposition and unique selling points.
Relationship Building
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospects and partners. Understand evolving requirements.
- Provide consultative sales approaches to address challenges effectively.
Collaboration and Alignment
- Collaborate with Account Team, Marketing, BVC, Services, GTM, and Product Management.
- Share insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
- Develop and strategize complex sales opportunities.
Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales activity records in SFDC.
- Generate regular sales reports and performance analyses for management review.
Sales Enablement Support
- Assist in designing training programs.
- Provide tools and resources to empower account teams and specialist reps.
- Offer guidance, coaching, and assistance to account executives and partners.
Your Experience
- Proven track record of success in enterprise sales.
- Experience closing high-value, complex deals ($1m+).
- Experience selling SASE solutions/platforms (SWG, CASB/DLP, FWaaS, SD-WAN, ZTNA).
- Cultivate cross-functional relationships (senior leadership, sales, marketing, services, GTM, product, clients, partners).
- Familiarity with ecosystem sales models.
- Native/fluent German and advanced English skills.
- Experience with enterprise sales methodology (MEDDIC), Must Win Plans.
