About the role Equip is seeking a Scheduling Operations Specialist to support patient and family scheduling. This role is a critical introductory point of contact.
Responsibilities
- Respond to onboarding tasks efficiently.
- Schedule initial intakes with providers.
- Activate patient accounts.
- Educate patients on Equip's treatment model and expectations.
- Update and manage provider schedules.
- Collaborate with providers.
- Follow established workflows for scheduling.
- Conduct outreach for appointment gaps (no-shows/cancellations).
- Provide input on workflow improvements.
- Complete required documentation.
- Adapt to organizational changes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (health sciences, business, etc.).
- 2+ years experience in customer/patient support.
- Knowledge of HIPAA policies.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR systems).
