About the role Equip is seeking a Scheduling Operations Specialist to support patient and family scheduling. This role is a critical introductory point of contact.

Responsibilities

• Respond to onboarding tasks efficiently.
• Schedule initial intakes with providers.
• Activate patient accounts.
• Educate patients on Equip's treatment model and expectations.
• Update and manage provider schedules.
• Collaborate with providers.
• Follow established workflows for scheduling.
• Conduct outreach for appointment gaps (no-shows/cancellations).
• Provide input on workflow improvements.
• Complete required documentation.
• Adapt to organizational changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (health sciences, business, etc.).
• 2+ years experience in customer/patient support.
• Knowledge of HIPAA policies.
• Proficiency with digital communication tools (Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR systems).
