Full-Time Senior Accounting Manager

Ethos is seeking an ambitious and results-driven Senior Accounting Manager to lead and optimize corporate accounting operations in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead core accounting functions, including month-end close processes, financial reporting, and annual external audits.
• Manage complex technical and operational areas, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses.
• Ensure compliance with SOX 404 and oversee quarterly and annual financial filings.
• Own the accounting function for the Enterprise Agent Business.
• Optimize process improvements, automation initiatives, and financial reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
• Manage accounting functions for international subsidiaries, including financial consolidation.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, employee expense reimbursements, and corporate credit cards.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team.
• Support ad-hoc projects (system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements).

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in a corporate accounting role (ideally in a high-growth or public company)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose problems independently
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with NetSuite, Navan, or similar financial platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking

Salary: $108,000 - $191,000 (USD)
