Contractor Senior Advisor, Equal Economic Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Senior Advisor, Equal Economic Opportunity, to work in the Gender Equality team. You will develop and implement the Equal Economic Opportunity body of work and be involved in key projects.

• Maintain understanding of philanthropic and impact investment approaches for women’s economic empowerment.
• Lead execution of partnerships and impact investments for women entrepreneurs and financial inclusion.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders, including civil society, social enterprises, and impact investors.
• Build relationships with businesses, banks, and investors to promote financial inclusion and equality.
• Advocate for law and policy reform to support economic empowerment for women.
• Collaborate with Minderoo’s Impact Investing team to support the Equal Economic Opportunity impact investment strategy.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration with other teams.

You will bring a minimum of ten years of professional experience managing strategies to promote gender equality and/or economic empowerment.

• A relevant tertiary degree with an understanding of commercial and financial models.
• Established networks across impact investing, philanthropy, government and business.
• Knowledge of issues related to financial inclusion and empowerment for vulnerable women.
