Why this Role is Important: Budderfly’s continued success is directly related to the strength and quality of our national contractor network. As Budderfly is responsible for both the execution of our energy efficiency retrofits and the ongoing preventative maintenance and reactive service needs of our enrolled sites, the Contractor Relations function has a direct impact on Budderfly’s most important KPIs: operational execution, expense profile, life-of-project energy savings, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Contractor Network Development: Design and implement a scalable contractor acquisition, training, and retention strategy.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with strategic Contractor partners.
- Contractor Training & Enablement: Oversee and optimize the Contractor Onboarding and Training program.
- Contract Oversight: Own contract and MSA negotiation and assessment.
- Financial Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop contractor cost assessment models.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Use KPIs and performance analytics to assess contractor performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Core, HVAC, Service, Pilots, Finance, and Legal teams.
- Communication Strategy: Develop clear internal and external communication plans.
