About the RoleLastPass is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design, develop, and improve software deployment and IT infrastructure. You will automate the building and deploying of code into different environments (Dev, RC), administrate and maintain CI/CD tools, and provide support to Product Engineering teams.

You will be part of a dedicated operations community in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, focused on improving operational practices. You will use your technical expertise and experience to generate ideas and provide guidance for your team and other engineering teams, enabling them to operate effectively. You will collaborate with architects and security experts to ensure secure, reliable, maintainable, and scalable services.
Exciting Challenges
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD systems, including the pipeline and tooling, following industry and company-wide best practices.
- Drive standardization and automation efforts in the build and deployment processes.
- Support and improve tools for continuous integration, automated testing, and release management.
- Document and communicate improvements to various stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with developer teams to ensure quality gates and usability of the pipeline.
What it Takes
- Good understanding of DevOps tools and technologies.
- Ability to deliver solutions and provide root cause analysis while recommending and implementing solutions to operational problems.
- Extensive knowledge of CI/CD processes and familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitLab AutoDevOps, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Puppet).
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies (AWS).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, EKS, ECS).
- Infrastructure-as-code mindset (CloudFormation, CDK, or similar).
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Go, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring infrastructure (Datadog).
- Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an IaC mindset.
- Team player with a can-do attitude.
