Full-Time Senior Director, Eye Care

Warby Parker is seeking a strategic Senior Director of Eye Care to lead our Eye Care Field Leadership team.

Reporting to the VP of Eye Care, you'll drive big, positive change for the business. Your work will directly impact optometrists, retail teams, and customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute expansion strategies for eye care services, focusing on sustainable growth and strong financial performance.
2. Lead a team overseeing day-to-day operations, emphasizing patient care, operational excellence, and strategic innovation.
3. Design and implement scalable systems and technologies to enhance optometrist efficiency and patient experience.
4. Act as a strategic liaison between optometry teams, retail operations, internal partners, and leadership.
5. Establish and monitor key performance metrics for scheduling, patient processes, and exam offerings.
6. Conduct market and technology research to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities.
7. Manage complex cross-functional projects with clear timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
8. Advocate for optometrists, ensuring their insights inform strategic decisions.
9. Develop programs to support the growth and development of optometrists and Eye Care team leaders.
10. Collaborate with Retail team partners to drive success metrics and overall productivity.

Qualifications:

• 11+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, medical technology, or a related field.
• Proven track record of driving organizational transformation and achieving measurable business results.
• Deep expertise in optometry (clinical experience as an OD or direct operational management preferred).
• Organizational agility to support a growing network of in-person and remote doctors.
