Senior Director, Learning & Development
The Senior Director, Learning & Development will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of programs to enhance employee capabilities in technical, professional, and leadership areas.
This role will focus on developing a scalable, innovative learning ecosystem supporting career growth while aligning with business goals. You'll collaborate with technical leaders, people operations, and project teams to identify development needs, build learning pathways, and deliver impactful training experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives, supporting technical and consulting excellence.
- Conduct learning needs assessments and build tailored learning roadmaps.
- Design, deliver, and manage onboarding, technical training, soft skills, and leadership programs.
- Source, vet, and manage third-party training providers and certification programs.
- Create or curate engaging learning content (e-learning, instructor-led, virtual training, on-the-job).
- Build learning paths for critical roles and deliver training (including train-the-trainer).
- Oversee learning platforms (e.g., Udemy) and track learning progress/completion.
- Track, analyze, and report on learning outcomes, engagement, and ROI.
- Continuously improve learning experiences based on feedback.
- Partner with learning leaders, subject matter experts, and project managers to ensure learning solutions meet business needs.
- Promote a culture of learning by communicating development opportunities.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in learning and development (ideally in a technology consulting or professional services firm).
- Proven ability to design, launch, and manage scalable training programs.
- Ability to lead engaging and motivating training sessions.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and digital learning platforms.
- Experience working with IT certification programs (e.g., AWS, Pega, Databricks).
- Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, global teams.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.
- Preferred: Experience in IT consulting/professional services; Certifications in instructional design, learning technologies.
