Senior Director, Learning & Development will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of programs to enhance employee capabilities in technical, professional, and leadership areas.
This role focuses on a scalable, innovative learning ecosystem that supports career growth while aligning with business objectives.
The role requires collaboration with technical leaders, people operations, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop & implement learning strategy aligned with business goals and supporting technical and consulting excellence.
- Conduct learning needs assessments and build tailored learning roadmaps for key roles.
- Design, deliver, and manage onboarding, technical training, soft skills development, and leadership programs.
- Source, vet, and manage third-party training providers and certification programs.
- Create/curate engaging learning content using e-learning, instructor-led, virtual training, and on-the-job learning.
- Build learning and development paths for critical roles.
- Deliver instructor-led training and train-the-trainer programs.
- Oversee learning platforms (e.g., Udemy) and track progress and completion.
- Track, analyze, and report learning outcomes, engagement, and ROI.
- Continuously improve learning experiences based on feedback and performance data.
- Partner with global learning leaders, subject matter experts, practice leads, and project managers.
- Promote a culture of learning by communicating development opportunities.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in a technology consulting or professional services company.
- Proven ability to design, launch, and manage scalable training programs.
- Ability to lead engaging and motivating training sessions, including train-the-trainer courses.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and digital learning platforms.
- Experience with IT certification programs and upskilling initiatives (AWS, Pega, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, global teams
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Instructional Design, or related field.
- Experience in an IT consulting or professional services firm (preferred).
- Instructional design, learning technologies certifications (e.g., CPTD, ATD, Kirkpatrick) (preferred).
Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000
