Diverse portfolio with complex issues to navigate, specializing in landed estates, rural businesses, and titled families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of personal clients with complex tax affairs (HNWIs, Landed Estates, agricultural clients, entrepreneurs, Partnerships, Trusts).
- Assist Partners/Directors and take the lead on tax planning initiatives (succession planning, trusts, corporate structures, capital gains, inheritance tax).
- Liaise with other service lines (Accounts & Corporate Tax).
- Oversee compliance & advisory tasks by junior staff.
- Maintain client relationships and support senior team members.
- Develop junior team members through feedback and technical/personal development.
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience in a professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of private client tax issues.
- Proven technical knowledge & communication skills for complex messages.
- Experience in tax planning/advisory projects & managing complex compliance.
- People management & organizational skills.
- Chartered Accountant/Chartered Tax Adviser (ACA/CTA) qualification.
