Job Details

The Senior Manager of Regional Sales (East) will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, Canada.

This role involves developing and executing sales strategies aimed at driving profitable growth across all Canadian Dealer and Home Center available brands.

The individual will be responsible for managing sales within the assigned region, focusing on Home Builder, Home Center, and Dealer development in Eastern territories, ensuring close interaction with customers across all markets.

Additionally, this position will include responsibility for reporting on sales and margin goals.

  1. Develops market strategies for Home Center and Dealer channels, leveraging brand portfolio.
  2. Ensures sales targets for Eastern territories are met or surpassed.
  3. Manages sales representatives for Eastern region (Ontario, Quebec, and Maritimes).
  4. Analyzes Home Center and Dealer sales data to identify opportunities and risks.
  5. Develops selling strategies to respond effectively to market conditions.
  6. Assists representatives with priority accounts.
  7. Monitors and supports sales goals for Eastern territories (Greater Toronto Area, Southwestern Ontario, Northeast Ontario, Quebec, and Maritimes).
  8. Improves margin and reduces margin erosion.
  9. Develops new accounts and serves as a liaison to the sales team.
  10. Conducts monthly reviews and generates sales and margin reports for all Eastern territories.
  11. Manages the Eastern sales team SPA and pricing requests.
  12. Aligns resources with strategy, sets clear expectations and establishes boundaries; manages rep performance.
  13. Supports team atmosphere where team members work together; encourages open communication and establishes positive climate.
  14. Manages execution of strategic sales plan, including prioritization of activities.
  15. Manages and reports on Eastern sales initiatives and action plans.
  16. Demonstrates MasterBrand Way, positions the company for growth, identifies opportunities to reduce waste, complexity, and improve work environment.
  17. Develops in-depth knowledge of all MasterBrand strategic business units.
  18. Leverages ideas from others to provide value-added recommendations and best practices.
  19. Demonstrates teamwork by collaborating with MasterBrand upper management, team members, and channel partners; shares information and ideas, seeks and accepts constructive feedback.
  20. Accepts additional assignments when appropriate.
  21. Identifies self-development needs and seeks opportunities to further develop skills.
  22. Participates in company ethics and compliance activities.
  23. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education in business or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales management
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading a sales team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Stationary position (50% of time)
  • Frequent travel to customer locations
  • Operate office productivity machinery (computers, tablets, printer)
  • Exchange accurate information with customers
  • Read documents, instructions, emails, and computer screens
  • See details on printed materials and presentations

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Home office
  • Travel required (25-50% of time)
  • Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud noises
