The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing will oversee the execution of sourcing category strategies within MasterBrand by implementing and managing contracts, supplier and product introductions and transitions, qualifications, and overall supply chain performance metrics for suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop thorough understanding of full commodity value stream/map.
- Monitor and report supplier performance metrics (compliance, quality, delivery, and total cost) in support of MasterBrand objectives.
- Facilitate new product introduction strategies (identifying specifications, volumes, and support of innovative solutions).
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders by providing timely and accurate information in support of business needs.
- Facilitate timely pricing maintenance, accuracy, and system updates.
- Develop others through coaching, feedback, exposure, and stretch assignments.
- Lead and implement best total cost improvement initiatives to meet company goals and growth needs.
- Be a key contributor of change management process for product development costing process.
- Drive continuous total cost improvement initiatives to meet company goals.
- Ensure that stakeholders, team members, and suppliers are in compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Effectively prioritize and problem solve various business needs, utilizing lean tools and approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience with lean concepts (Value Stream Mapping, A3 Problem Solving, and Daily Management).
- Experience with global suppliers (Asia, Europe, Indonesia) a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
