Full-Time Senior Manager,Salesforce

Overview:

The Delivery Manager is both a hands-on Solution Architect and a team lead, responsible for guiding a team of Solution Architects and Senior Consultants. This role combines technical expertise in solution architecture with leadership duties, including performance reviews, resource management, and mentoring. The Delivery Manager addresses project escalations, collaborates with stakeholders, and drives process improvements in architecture and delivery. Additionally, they balance project work with strategic initiatives, focusing on meeting billable utilization targets. Over 8 years of Salesforce consulting experience is required, with Salesforce architect certifications preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• People Management 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects and Senior Consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate resource allocation and workload balance across the team.
• Escalation Management 
  • Work with your counterparts on the delivery team as a point of contact for project-related escalations (specifically in the area of design & architecture), working to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to address and resolve critical delivery challenges.
  • Implement strategies to prevent recurring issues and improve overall project delivery.
• Process Improvement 
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements related to solution architecture and design to enhance the quality and efficiency of delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and optimize delivery methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to architectural standards and guidelines across all projects.
• Project Work 
  • Achieve and maintain a billable utilization target of 60% for yourself and guide your team to meet their utilization targets.
  • Monitor and report on utilization metrics, making adjustments to maximize productivity.
  • Balance project delivery responsibilities with strategic initiatives to support business growth

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting, with a strong background in solution architecture and delivery management.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing and resolving project escalations.
• Expertise in process improvement methodologies related to solution architecture and design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Application Architect, Salesforce System Architect
