Full-Time Senior Managing Consultant, Epidemiology

Ramboll is seeking a senior-level environmental or occupational epidemiologist to join our Health Sciences team as a Senior Managing Consultant.

Your new role
Manage complex consulting assignments and working independently to translate minimally defined scopes into actionable work plans and deliverables. Work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and be proficient in the analysis and communication of technical information. Work cooperatively with colleagues, agencies, and trade organizations to develop solutions that will guide risk-based decision-making. Demonstrate a commitment to mentoring and developing staff.

Your primary practice areas:

• Regulatory science
• Product safety and stewardship
• Occupational health
• Expert services supporting the legal sector
• Community health and human health risk assessment

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

1. Leading and managing projects to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
2. Working directly with clients and regulatory agency relations.
3. Providing subject matter expertise in epidemiology and its application to human health risk assessment and systematic reviews of scientific evidence.
4. Demonstrating thought leadership
5. Maintaining a high degree of autonomy while collaborating effectively with colleagues across disciplines and business units
6. Guiding staff in their careers and promoting staff development

About you

• An academic degree in Epidemiology, or related discipline
• 10+ years of relevant experience including project and people management, familiarity with regulatory risk assessments of chemicals and non-infectious agents, and interaction with regulatory agencies (e.g., USEPA).
• Ability to manage diverse teams as well as external client and regulatory agency relationships
• Orientation toward quantitative methods and knowledge of modern causal inference methods
• Possesses leadership capabilities and has strong written and oral communication skills
