About the RoleWe seek a Senior Medical Informatics Specialist to lead medical consults in oncology. This role will work with internal and external stakeholders to build real-world evidence supporting clinical and commercial decisions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in oncology clinical workflows, and in designing and utilizing longitudinal health records to enhance care, accelerate research, or improve institutional operations.

This is a full-time remote position. No medical advice will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Atropos Health digital consults with an Oncology focus.
• Collaborate with physicians and researchers to address hypotheses across disease and treatment areas.
• Leverage the Atropos platform.
• Partner with Atropos' Product team for client feedback and new feature suggestions.
• Present collaborative work at conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Clinical training (MD, RN, PharmD, PA, etc) with oncology specialization and at least 2 years of post-training clinical work in oncology.
• Strong quantitative background (e.g., clinical informatics, bioinformatics, statistics).
• Knowledge of clinical terminology standards (ICD, SNOMED, LOINC).
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Reporting

Reports to the Director, Medical Informatics (Oncology) - TBH.

Location

Remote (USA only).
