Full-Time Senior Medical Science Liaison

THE POSITION: The Senior Medical Science Liaison will establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within a defined territory. They are the Client's scientific face in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain expert relationships with KOLs across various disciplines, locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.
• Support and advise on translating field medical strategies to national KOL plans.
• Provide expert scientific support to KOLs and referring centers.
• Collaborate with Medical Information colleagues to improve Standard Response Letters, FAQs, and MIRF process.
• Act as primary liaison for investigators interested in investigator-initiated research.
• Implement strategic medical plans in specified centers independently.
• Train and mentor new MSLs or Key Account Managers.
• Support scientific congresses by organizing symposia, providing coverage, and contributing summaries.
• Organize pre-conference company meetings and ensure alignment with cross-functional partners.
• Stay updated on scientific trends in therapeutic areas.
• Contribute expertise to the cross-functional Product Team for medical and commercial plans.
• Participate and advise in the planning and execution of scientific advisory boards.
• Serve as a scientific subject matter expert.
• Understand EU pharma rules, especially for MSL activities and HCP/patient interactions.
• Provide clinical presentations and answer unsolicited questions.
• Create and implement territory plans aligned with broader strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical decision-makers at all levels.

Expectations:

• Travel: Up to 70%
• Hours: 5 days a week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Scientific master's degree
• 5-10 years MSL experience
• Rare disease experience (Oncology or Neurology preferred)
• Excellent presentation skills (1:1, small groups, written)
• Mastery of business software (Veeva CRM, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office)
• Strong understanding of complex technical concepts
• Excellent relationship management skills
• Strong organization and prioritization skills
• Strong personal initiative, flexibility, and execution
• Valid driver's license

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Oncology or Neurology, especially rare diseases
