Full-Time Senior Payroll Specialist

• You manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for multiple countries, with full ownership of the Portuguese payroll
• You ensure data accuracy and legal compliance across payroll systems, providers, and internal processes
• You collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and third-party providers to resolve complex payroll issues
• You prepare and validate reports, audits, and statutory declarations in alignment with local regulations
• You identify and lead process improvements and automation opportunities across payroll operations
• You provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing your expertise and best practices

• Experience You bring 3+ years of experience in international payroll, with strong expertise in Portuguese payroll processes and legislation
• Education You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
• Technical Skills You are experienced in working with payroll systems and HRIS tools (e.g. ADP, Workday)
• Compliance You have a deep understanding of local labor laws, tax regulations, and social contributions in Portugal
• Language You are fluent in English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
• Soft Skills You are detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working cross-functionally in an international environment
